Cables
Since the formation of Falmouth Divers in 1978, the installation and maintenance of submarine telecommunication and power cables has been a core sector of our business.
We operate both as a specialist sub-contractor to the major installation contractors and as main contractors for smaller installation projects such as estuary and river crossings, replacement array cables, site investigations and remedial works projects.
Experience
We undertake projects on a worldwide basis including difficult and hostile environments, and are able to mobilise at relatively short notice for most projects anywhere in the world.
Falmouth Divers have a reputation as an experienced and professional contractor. Our personnel operate to the highest levels of health and safety, and our UKAS approved QHSE management systems are independently audited and certified to internationally recognised standards. We’re systematic in our approach to problem solving and can offer innovative cost-effective solutions to most projects.

We provide the plant, personnel and materials to carry out a broad range of work around submarine cabling, including but not limited to the following:
Diving and beach team support for shore end landings
Diving support for offshore wind farms and marine turbines
Burial machine and trencher support
Complete installation of river, estuary and inter-island cables (including all onshore civil engineering works)
Repair and replacement of array and short distance export cables
Site investigations and route surveys
Cable stabilisation including trenching, clamping, articulated pipe and mattressing
Rock removal by dredging, Cardox and manual breaking
Vessel supply
Personnel supply such as Project Management, Marine Superintendents, Beach Masters, Cable Engine Operators, Riggers and Client Representatives
